What is maple.website?
maple.website designs, builds, and hosts your small-business website in Canada, structured so AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google can find and quote you. Hosting is $10 CAD/month; we build the site for you from $50.
How is website building billed?
We do not bill by the number of pages. A build is priced by the total characters of copy, the number of custom images, and the hours of work. The $50 base build includes 20,000 characters, 4 custom images, and 2 hours of work; anything beyond is added on.
What does the $50 build include?
20,000 characters of copy, 4 custom images, and 2 hours of work. Beyond that, extra copy is $0.20 per 1,000 characters, extra custom images are $2 each, and extra hours are $40 per hour, always quoted in advance.
Can I use my own content and images?
Yes. Characters and images are billed when we create them for you. You are welcome to upload your own copy and images instead, which keeps your build inside the included allotment.
Is an AI agent included?
No. maple.website is hosting plus the site build. You add an AI sales or chat agent by subscribing to the Maple product that provides it, such as MapleInvoice, MapleChat, or MapleReceptionist, and it attaches to your free Maple account.
Do you provide a domain name?
Hosting and connecting a domain you already own is included. Buying or registering a new domain is a separate Joel & Nanz service; domains range from about $20 to hundreds of thousands of dollars, so contact us for a quote.
Is maple.website included with other plans?
Yes. Website hosting, a $10/month value, is included free with the paid plans of MapleConcierge and MapleBuy.
Is my site hosted in Canada?
Yes. Sites are hosted on Canadian infrastructure with SSL, CDN, and daily backups. Privacy copy is PIPEDA-aligned and billing is in Canadian dollars.
How fast can my site be live?
Most sites go from a 10-minute brief to live in 7 to 14 days. The AI drafts the site fast, then a Canadian designer polishes it and signs off.
Can I get a French version?
